Equatorial Medical was pleased to be part of the Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO®) Program in Shendi, bringing together healthcare professionals for specialized training in the management of obstetric emergencies.
The program focused on strengthening practical skills and promoting a standardized, team-based approach to managing critical situations during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. ALSO training covers a range of emergency scenarios, including postpartum hemorrhage, hypertensive disorders, shoulder dystocia, maternal resuscitation, and other obstetric complications.
Through our support of programs such as ALSO, Equatorial Medical continues to contribute to medical education and professional development, helping healthcare teams strengthen their preparedness and deliver safer care for mothers and newborns.
